ENVIS Resource Partner on Renewable Energy and Climate Change at TERI (The Energy and Resources Institute, New Delhi), a member of ENVIS Network and Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change organized a webinar on ‘India’s progress in Combating Climate Change through Renewable Energy’ on March 2021, 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM. The webinar aimed at discussing the role of renewable energy in mitigating and combating the issues of Climate Change. The discussion on various threats and challenges faced due to extensive climate change along with the possible solutions in line with Renewable Energy was also done. Climate Change remains a global challenge with extreme negative implications.
The webinar was facilitated by the eminent speakers from various sectors like researchers, academicians and policy makers. The list of faculty includes:
