Renewable energy comes from natural sources or processes that are constantly naturally replenished. Energy from renewable resources puts less strain on the supply of fossil fuels, which are limited in nature and considered as non-renewable resources of energy. Renewable energy is expected to completely cover all our energy needs within a few decades. Although there are some cost and technological constraints in adopting renewable sources of energy, in order to quantum leap, there seems to be a need to invest more in the R&D practices.
