Webinar on “Plastic Pollution amidst COVID-19- Protector or Polluter”

ENVIS Resource Partner at TERI (The Energy and Resources institute), a member of ENVIS Network and Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change organized a webinar on ‘Plastic Pollution amidst COVID-19- Protector or Polluter” 31st July, 2020, 15:30- 17:00 hrs. The session aimed at identifying the threat or the challenges faced by the environmentalist due to extensive use of single use plastic in this COVID era. Plastic items remain a challenge also environmentalists fear negative consequences for wildlife at terrestrial and marine ecosystems if such wastes are not handled properly.

The webinar was facilitated by the eminent speakers from various sectors like researchers, academicians and policy makers. The list of faculty includes:
