TERI ENVIS Resources Partner on Renewable Energy and Climate Change had organized an “Nurturing Children Through Environmental Education” which is annual flagship programs for children held between May and June from 5:00 pm-6:00 pm on Tuesday & Friday of every week. The motive of this program is to allow these children to enhance reading and writing skills through various activities designed especially for them. This program also provides them a platform where they can express their creative ideas to protect the environment. Along with the academic development, this program also includes storytelling, online learning activities, fun games, quiz programs where they get to enjoy and interact amongst themselves under professional guidance. It is aimed to spread awareness among children about sustainable development and Environmental issues through creative and interactive activities. This year children were given opportunities to flaunt their talent in a variety of programs. Spreading awareness among children about environment management is one of the grassroots steps that should be taken to have a better and sustainable future.
Considering the national guidelines for novel COVID 2019, the Children Awareness Programme held in online mode using online platform such as MS teams, Webex and Zoom for delivering the session and the flyer is prepared and floated 2 days before the session and reminder was sent just before joining the session.
