 Webinar on Mission LiFE and Green Skill Development Training- Impacts and Opportunities

TERI- EIACP RP organised a webinar on " Mission LiFE and Green Skill Development Training: Impacts & Opportunities " on May 23rd 2023. The webinar was organised under the umbrella of Environmental Information, Awareness, Capacity Building and Livelihood Programme (EIACP) scheme funded by Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. The event was organised from the perspective of challenges faced by GSDP trainees in getting livelihoods and entrepreneurial activities. The session was able to develop moral to over 30 participants who attended the webinar. Programme started with the talk by Pallavi Singh, Associate Fellow TERI on Mission Life and how it is aligned with green skill trainings. Mr Akif Farooqui, Manager, TERI discussed on the problem faced by the trainees and it’s solving approach and gives various examples of successful candidates developed their entrepreneurs with the help of the training faculty teams. Students share their success stories, challenges faced and about their future plans.  

The session concluded by the interactive session between participants and experts about way forward by developing its skills in sustainable energy by deciding the objectives and job roles, entrepreurship particularly in green skills development and green energy sector.
